Draymond Green exemplifies the type of player who will be adored by his home team’s fans. Such as those of the Golden State Warriors, but will be despised by the fan bases of opposing teams. The fact that Green, the team’s fourth- or fifth-best player, is also its leading trash-talker irritates many fans.
Many will express their disapproval if he continues to engage in constant trash-talking and arguments with officials regarding every call. Draymond has made a name for himself by capitalizing on the fact that his opposing fans dislike him.

Grayson Allen has been an NBA villain for years. Duke basketball fans hated Allen because he played dirty and moaned.
After some run-ins with other players that made him look filthy, NBA fans disliked Allen. Allen was a decent role player for years, but he may never be appreciated.
